The departure from the Riad/Hotel will be at 8 Am. The trip to Erg Chebbi sand dunes will take at least 8 hours in which we’ll see the Atlas Mountains and some villages (Tafilalet,Erfoud and Rissani). We’ll have some stops in some famous moroccan cities cities like Ifrane and Azrou in order to enjoy the view of the cedar woods and monkeys living there. We’ll have our lunch in Midelt and then we’ll keep going through the Ziz valley with discovering one of the most beautiful views of the palm trees until we arrive to Erg Chebbi where you’ll have the chance to experience camel trekking to reach the desert camp and spend an overnight in a Berber tent.
Today you’ll ride camels early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the sunrise, the destination will be the hotel to have breakfast and a shower. Then we’ll explore the nomad lifestyle and see many small villages like (Merzouga, Hassi Labied and also Khamlia) we’ll drive for 60 kilometers. During the afternoon you can enjoy swimming in a local hotel.
After having breakfast, we’ll drive through the black desert (Hamada) to reach Rissani and Erfoud (city of the fossils) , where we’ll visit a fossil workshop before visiting Todra Valley, the favorite place for the rock climbers. We’ll trek there before going to the hotel / Riad where we’re going to have dinner and to spend the night.
We’ll start our day by having breakfast at the hotel / Riad, then we continue the trip through many old Kasbahs and the rock region of Dades Valley where nomads still live in caverns. We will spend some time with one of these families that still living a simple lifestyle to know more about their culture , traditions . Next, we’ll visit the roses valley known for planting and making organic products from roses to reach Skoura palm groves. 45 km drive to Ouarzazate where we’ll spend the night in a local hotel.
Our adventure will begin after breakfast ; we’ll start by visiting cinema studios in Ouarzazate (The African Hollywood). Then we’re going to visit the all-inclusive Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah as it has been named by Unesco in 1987. More than 20 movies including “Gladiator” ” Alexander” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia” were filmed in that fortified city. After that we’ll continue our way to reach Marrakech by taking the road through the impressive High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass and we’ll have lunch in the center of the Atlas Mountains before arriving to your riad / hotel in Marrakech.
