2 Days Errachidia to Merzouga Desert Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Errachidia → Ziz Valley → Erfoud → Rissani → Merzouga Desert Camp
Pick you up from Errachidia Airport or your hotel in Errachidia.
We’ll start driving south toward the desert. Well, the first stop is the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for thousands of palm trees and amazing views. Take from this area is perfect for photos.
After that, we through Erfoud, known as the fossil town of Morocco. and you can visit a local fossil workshop if you want.
Next, We go to Rissani, an old trading town. Here you can see the traditional market and local life of the Sahara region.
Then you arrive in Merzouga village, the gate of the Sahara Desert. Here you meet your camel guide and start the camel trekking in Erg Chebbi dunes. The camel ride normally takes about 1 hour to desert camp.
You stop on the dunes to watch the sunset over Merzouga Desert after sunset, continue to camp
At night, you stay in a Sahara Desert Camp in Merzouga. Enjoy a Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and a peaceful night in the desert.
